AC-130 has propellers, 2 gattling guns, howitzer, and 1 other gun i cant remember, as well as propellers. The C130 i believe does not tilt its nose up for the front loading bay correct me if im wrong.

C-5 is over two times larger than the C-130.
Check out this photo:
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0652371/M/ . There's a Galaxy on the ground, and two C-130 Herculeses behind it.

Just another proof, that my knowledge about military equipment/vehicles is very limited, shame on me. ^^
Edit: Thanks for the link daranz.

No need to get snappy just because he doesn't know as much about airplanes as you

Wow !
I knew the C5 was bigger but that pic really shows how much.
I have a pic of a B17 flying next to a B52 and it's a similiar ratio.

Yeah, I always thought it was a Russian bird...

It is NOT a C-5 Galaxy; it is an Antonov An-124 aircraft. How can you guys mistake the T-tail on the C5 with the Antonov's low-set tail as seen in Battlefield 2? I'm glad to see that at least KP got it right.
Here are some photos of the An-124:

As seen in PR's Al Basrah map.

Planes transport are designed to land on short runways to provide quick supply, or am i watching too many C130 documentery.

I don't think they're designed to land on short runways. They're designed to be able to fly low-level and "drop" cargo out of the back on pallets.

yeah well a C5 is designed to operate off short rough strips.

C130s are designed to have jets attached, for short takeoff for purposes of showing off at airshows!
