In single player when you join a squad you get the message that says "Do you want to become Squad Leader for this Squad?". Would it be possible to add this to the multi player also?

I think it would reduce the amount of people leaving and rejoining squads when the SL leves and they don't want to be a leader. Also it would prevent the civilians instantly dieing when SL leaves and a civilian is selected as the new squad leader.

(Tried searching, but couldn't find any similar suggestions)

if everyone says 1 answer? imo its pretty useless, not to mention probally hardcoded...

Not sure how that would ever work in multiplayer. What happens if when a person joins the squad they say yes to being SL?

So for example you have a brilliant SL and great squad working well. Some dude comes along and takes a spare space in the squad, then says yes to becoming SL and messes up the entire game. Can't see it working TBH. Only thing would for it to be coded so that if they do say yes, it doesn't affect the current SL I guess??

Maybe I didn't explain it well enough. I meant that only when the current SL leaves it asks the next guy in the list if he wants to be leader, if he rejects the question goes to the guy after him and so on. If everybody rejects someone is chosen to be SL by default. Or the question could do a second round and after that default leader is chosen if everybody rejects.
