Also it puts less stress on your PC, the in game comms can be quite demanding, especially for those with lower end machines and we can alter the audio quality using different codecs to best suit all users.

Not to mention, we can all sit in the same channel when its like 4v4 and we are just messing around. You also dont have to be ingame to use teamspeak.

I'm gonna be gone for a few hours saturday...hope it's not the same time that everybody decides to come on and play. Also, what's the server that everyone is meeting at? I found a T-K-A server, but it doesn't look like it's running PRMM...thought maybe there was another? But as soon as I get home I'll check to see if anyone is playing.

We usually pick one depending on the majority. If its euros, we'll do a euro server. if its US, well do a US server.

Hopefully we'll have some to choose from this time :]

I only have 256Mb RAM, so opening pretty much anything else with BF2 will probably make my PC run backwards ??: Either way though - I'm in.

256MB Ram? Damn bro.. my thoughts go out to your PC. May I recommend http://www.newegg.com? If you're strapped on cash, grab the cheapest there. It's usually around 20-30 bucks for a stick of 512mb. Mind you, it's not the best quality RAM but it should hold you over until you get a new PC or better ram...

The RAM I'm running at the mo is PC2100, however I was told at PC World that I can use PC2700, but I haven't seen evidence on this anywhere else. My PC is an E-Machines 570 (UK Spec), (it's not funny) - any idea how I can find out wether I can use PC2700 or not for sure?

A tad unfortunate, Dalian is not everyones cup of tea. Seems the server was set to stay on that map for 1200 rotations to. Hopefully once 0.2 is released, the numbers will increase and we can get some competitive play going.

Tonights game was quite boring. Never had so much fun playing vanilla BF since that...

Yea it sucked.

There was only one server to play on--which was stuck on the same damn map (Dalian Plant). I couldn't take it anymore at some point and just left. The map was driving me crazy.

Oh well. I'm still going to be here every saturday hoping more people will show up to play. If not, I'm hitting up vanilla BF2....

We will have a game server soon, guess what i will be running on it??? Then we will have a server with admin and gooood maps to play on every saturday
With it we will be running PR, Armed Assault ( when it's out ) and maybe OFP ( just because of the old times ).

Sounds good... Btw, what's your definition of a good map?
