HMG and LMG kits ?

I couldn't find any related topic to this one or i'm just bad at searching.......
I was wondering, add a LIGHT machine gun kit (which is already in the game) and a HEAVY machine gun kit USMC----------LMG----M249 ??????
USMC----------HMG----M240 ??????
Right??????

Might be a bit pointless. Besides, an M240 would probably need 2 men to carry it.

Been suggested before by me and others ... DEV's refuse to add GPMG's for conventional forces .
Though we have PKM GPMG for militia\insurgents ...
... and 7.62x51 H&K 21E for MEC .
So I wonder why won't we have type-88 for China and M240\L7 for US\UK ?
Really no idea...

Yes they do operate in teams of two but so do snipers and other weapons in the game. The second guy is really just there to carry more ammo and extra barrels for you. Besides for that he functions as another rifleman.

Well then I stand corrected. They would be useful maybe more as static defenses in watchtowers and windows than field deployable.

Yeah, they would be better than fixed M249s, which is a great for gunning down people entering the checkpoint but not for longer range stuff.

This has been suggested before, please do a search.
BTW, the M240 is a medium or general purpose machinegun. A heavy machinegun generally fires rounds larger than 7.62mm, but less than 20mm in caliber.

Refuse to? Where the Hell did any of us say that? Here's an idea of why they're not in yet: because it takes time to model them.
