you know those drive by's with the white windowless vans? well for the insurgent team, i thought of this

the red represents area's that bullets can go through and kill the people inside

the doors can be opened by a passenger thats to the left of it

there would be 2 passngers right behind the doors that can shoot and stuff


i don't even know if this is possible, but i know that windows can be penetrable, these could act as the same but it's colored white instead


love to see a full van with 2 civ's in the front, 2 insurgent's behind the doors, and the rest of the room filled with civ's would be hard to take out with out killing the civ's

Aren't civilians inside of vehicles fair game? I'm pretty sure they are, cause I shot then out of cars before at the VCP and didn't get a penalty.

Couldnt a moving door, like the ramp on the merlin, but put on the side of a van?

So you could have the driver being able to open it, so people inside could shoot out?

That would be cool like, you see a white van and your like wtf? Then the doors open and Aks fire out from it...

IMO, regular cars are good enough, we just need double Uzi's for Insurgents

open the door's with 2 RPG's going straight out... that would be a pretty good fort

I think it is a excellent idea, your on the ground 6 man squad the all of a sudden this big MOFO van screams round the corner AK's blazing kills your mates, your whip out AT blow up the van, nick your mates medi kit, revive your squad. and have a laff.

Isn't the normal pickup truck with a lot of seats enough?
From what I can tell, it's pretty much the same thing since you can shoot through most of the van and it's slower speed (come on, it's a VAN) will counteract to the little added protection when compared to the pickup.
@UKARMYCADET, that can happen with all other insurgent forms of transportation.

Besides, it's an insurgent vehicle none the less, Brits will shoot it at first sight no matter who's driving or is in the back and as a van, it's just a bigger target for LAT, HAT, Apaches, APCs and any other thing capable of blowing stuff up.
Now a Jihad van... with the explosive power of around 2-3 Bomb trucks, that might come in handy.

Uzis for insurgents... oh yes.. very likely Does anyone realise what country makes Uzis? Of course.. open gun running market etc etc.. blah blah but hey ...

White Transit vans, hmm well read the briefing at the starts of the map "All civilian vehicles are to be considered hostile"

uzis would be good for insurgents, not duals though....

What are the insurgents now? Some sort of gangsta rollin up in their part of the hood? On the PELA jeep you can do sort of a driveby....

this is definitely not priority as technicals and regular civi cars can perform somewhat similar roles

however a van like this with a small hole in the side where an svd sniper can fire out of (this way the brits or marines have no way of knowing if that van over there has a sniper in it)

more variety of civi automobiles could really add to future releases
