Well idk about the US getting the jav but i love this idea. Its real and has a place in the game with the insurgents if the DEVs choose to go ahead and make this thing.

i like this idea
however ins should only get one on a map like basrah and it should have either a longass respawn time or no respawn at all. disadvantaged teams like the ins especially have to guard and cherish their assets
yeah i wish the javelin could be implemented in .7 but it would have to be only 1 kit per 32 man team since it is one hit kill on MBTs and also has kikarse sighting and targeting system.

Didn't they (the U.S) use to carry thoose on Shermans and Willys?
They'd be a lot of fun too use.

I was thinking maybe it could be worked the some way as the insurgent bunker in 0.6 where the commander choses a location then the shovel guys build it. This could be the same with the rocket pad and onece its built it could just be used like a arty piece, or maybe put on the back of a pickup an can be oporated like a mobile arty type piece. It could also even try to bring down jets with it unguided rockets. Some people might not like this idea but i say if the US get the Javelin the insurgents should get something aswell.

"Calliopes" of unguided rockets have been suggested before for the insurgents and militia. Katyusha type rocket launchers are all over the place in developing state armies and guerrilla forces, mounted on trailers, trucks and even patrol boats.

i like the idea of deploying stationary hard hitting missles + calliope mounted trucks (instead of the usual mounted Kord)

i absolutely support this idea. katyushas would be awesome. put this in, and the AA gun truck i suggested lol
and insurgents would be even more fun to play.

You know I just realized, the insurgents are JUST like Pokemon. All they ever say is "Allah-hu-Akbar!", just like how Pokemon only ever say their names.

Hm. I'd rather see mortars first, as they are probably more common... Though, these things would be cool to have as well.

the insurgents totally use these things. how many times have you heard about the green zone getting rocketed? like a million. saddams army had tons of these, and just like everything else in his weapons caches it ended up in insurgent hands. its not propaghanda.
and yes trust me ive read many suggestions of insurgents getting theyre own air planes.

Off Topic: Thanks guys...reading "Calliopes" all over the first page made me feel like playing Company of Heroes just because these things were pwnage.
On Topic: Could be a great addition, but im affraid how it would actually hurt the gameplay.

just like any artillery be it howitzers, mortars, rockets, etc i think it would help gameplay if they only make it effective if used with a spotter thus requiring teamwork. Ala bf1942 style. but a little more refined.

you could just blind fire it and hope that one of your team mates tells you if your missing or not
