I'm new to BF2 and I really like the idea of PR but i want to continue playing and learning BF2 vanilla. Is there an 'easy' way to play both versions on one computer.... i.e. Mod to PR .5 then reload BF2 to 1.41 and have both versions on your PC.

Is that even possible? Sorry if this seems like a dumb question but I'm always of the belief "if there's a willl there's a way" .

you should be able to play both now. just click the BF2 icon and you should be good to go.

You get two separate icons for both BF2 and PR, they don't interfere with each other at all.

Just click the icon of what you want to play.

Careful, I played PR my first time last August, and never played vanilla BF2 again.

what is this possible?... please get back to me..... i thought once you play PR it was impossible to go back to BF2... i've never been able to.

I cant even play 0.5 now that I have 0.6. I went playing on some server and couldnt believe, that people have insta n00b tubes everywhere (read: non-limited grenadier kit)

And of course, the smacktardism on the only Basrah 24/7 server...and seeing people complain, how the 0.6 sucks or give misleading info, like the new Basrah has the Challenger 2 and has the Harrier jets instead of A10 and that every building is destroyable (we know, that its probably like 1/3 of the map, which can be destroyed) and that Insurgents don't have RPGs anymore, yadidadida..lol

Btw? Can you uninstall vBF2, and still run PR? My comp is running low on space so...

well... you could by deleting the BF2 mod folder, but i wouldn't recomend it considering that it could affect the whole game completely

Well, PR has vBF2 stuff in, but thats all in the PR folder along with the other PR stuff...
