SEAL class

Is it possible to create a SEAL class with underwater warriors ( nageurs de combat ) as Navy Combat Demolition Units ?
It will be an other way to ditch and invade a flag when there is river or sea . And maybe underwater fight with knife ... brrrr
!

IIRC the devs were looking at the feasibility of having an all Spec Ops map. Different types of weaponry and gear depending on what role X member chooses.

yea last i heard they were looking into making maps unit-specific,
as far as being able to swim underwater which i believe is another point hes trying to make id love to see that and i suppose it must be possible seeing as now when you jump in the water you briefly submerge

If they can submerge things it'd be nice to have those minisubs or maybe even something like the USS Jimmy Carter as a submerged static spawn point.

Well I do not know how maneuverable the BF2 engine is, but based on the 1942 engine it will be really diffiult to enable you to go underwater.

It was possible for subs ( with underwater vision ) in DCX mod for Bf 1942 .
They made atomic sub in Midway map .
In Farcry swimming underwater is possible but engine is different .

and as far as the sumbmerged swimming in '42
anyone remeber the DC secret swim with the spec ops kit you could get just below the surface and couldnt be seen from above water

you could do that with any kit that didn't have a large protruding pack on the back of it.

which happened to be the majority of the kids at least for US
i duno i havent played DC in damm like 8 months seems like an eternity
