Just stay off hidden in the hills with a low profile, and you can shred tanks. As soon as you hit them, their screen is shaken and blurred by explosions. They can't fire back as they are either lagging or can't even move the cursor. 10 seconds of bursts and you will kill an Abrams. Lavs and Bradleys take even less, and don't even get me started on Humvees.

takes 1 second burst to level 2 houses, and a swipe can level the village in Kashan.

Its anti air capabilities are somewhat lacking to its ground capablilites. Helicopters are basically screwed if I am up, no chance at all. However Jets are probably the safest thing to be in. They constantly pop flares, and rarely can you hit them with a gun burst. However when they are out of flares they are screwed. It usally takes 6 missles to bring them down as I have seen 2 missles burst and damage them when the plane was 300m away from me.

However Point of this Thread is to Share this Tactic: Start a squad, preferably anti air/ground. Get the Tunguska or bradley (if marines), a repair humvee, and either a tank or infantry.

Use the infantry and tank to scout ahead for Heavy AT people, as they are your worse nightmares.

Then Basically sit back and support them, shredding all infantry and everything. Use 4 missles everytime even if flares are popped, and reload from repair humvee.

Huh? The Shilka is in PR? I thought it was the Tunguska M-1, unless both are in game...

The Shilka was a thing to be reckoned with in OFP.

I'm pretty sure there is no shilka, I think it is just the Tunguska

The Marines should get this nice vehicle to tear things up rather than the M6 Linebacker. Besides for two packs of four FIM-92 Stingers it has a nice 25mm GAU-12 gatling gun. Plus it looks more natural with all of the other LAVs around.

dont think a AA vehicle cud take out a main battle tank...


And even if it could, id imagine it would take longer that the 5 seconds my tank took to get destroyed...

If the 30mm ammo was good enough it might be able to destroy a modern MBT from the back just like other autocannons but there is no way it would kill it from the front.

I hate them, especially with their zoom they are practically invincible against tanks if they spot you first.

Well, a tank doesn't have to be destroyed to be useless. I don't know how much punishment a cannon-barrel can take, but I would imagine that to be a weak point, along with any optical stuff.

I think that's the radar emitter.

I prefer the Linebacker, sine the Tunguska has that annoying thing in the middle, while the Linebacker has a clear view. And wouldnt really care about it, I dont fly helicopters on Kashan and I get owned by T90s when in a tank. So far I havent seen the Tunguska from the enemy side...and any infantry fighting at bunkers..above might explain, why

Me and my friends call it Mr. Shilka or Sir. Shilka......Damn things a beast....

The AA vehicle should be able to do everything described except take a MBT out.
