Can there be a possibility that tank (or at least the crew) can be destroyed with a hand grenade in the hatch ‘coz in reality that is one of the ways to destroy the crew of a tank. That would make tank crewmen to ask for infantry support to cover them because in current version tanks just stand in the middle of enemy army and kill anyone in sight. (AT can’t really damage them too much) Besides I have had many situations that I’m standing ON enemy tank and I can’t do anything to it even with a grenade
Maybe the hatch should be closed and it could take some time for infantry to open it.
Or for example if you kill a gunner that was sitting in the hatch then hatch would remain open and vulnerable for an attack.

P.S. I searched "tank grenade" and found nothing sorry if this already was suggested.

Due to the way the BF2 engine deals with people inside tanks, this is impossible.

And it has been suggested before.

Couldn't it be possible to make the hatch area take more damage then any other part of the tank, so it'd be possible to kill it with one or two grenades dropped on the hatch?

I would think that in the 67 Years since WW2 somebody came up with the great idea to lock the hatch in a combat situation, so i guess that this old "open hatch,nade in,close hatch"-tactic just wont work anymore.

How about we make it that if you push F you can fart down the hatch and all the crew die that way?

Think how many Stupid it would be to see MEC soldiers trying to jump ontop of an Abrams and put a nade in, while active...It doesnt happen in modern day warfare.

Normal Crew drills, are hatches down in a Hostile enviroment, to stop this sort of thing, and of course the dreaded snipers.
