just igniore him fearosious. It's all he types--'did u search?'
He might as well have it for his signature.
starting new topics makes sense sometimes---people are much less likely to look at a topic with 15 pages that was started last year.
Good idea. i've been waiting for this command. then you could tell the dumb *** who's shooting guns in your boat at choppers and so forth.

LoL I love that picture - my gift to Vikingo
Anyway there are 2 ways to transmit "speech" in BF2. One is over radio and its heard by all players where ever they are on the map. Other way is when a soldier "shouts" it and its only heard by people near him. So if its solution one than you will constantly hear "Cease fire" over and over again. It wont matter if you are shooting or not. If its solution 2 than the guy firing at you probably wont hear it at all.
Also you could exploit it and confuse enemies when they fire on you (since most people use English voices only option).

People who do they put them selfs in a big disadvantage. I've lost count of the amount of times I've noticed an enemy was around due to not using English voices.
@OP: I fully support any move to get more voice commands in game. BF1942 and :V had the right idea, not sure why EA nerfed it.

Seconded, and on the other hand a big part of the atmosphere is going down the drain. I really can't understand how people can play without using the luxury of different languages. Shokran! Anah!

I don't play with foreign languages, because PR does not feature chat subtitles for a lot of commands. So, someone can spot an angry tank going my way and all I'll hear is gibberish.
I have learned to listen closely, and I can usually tell when someone on the other team is talking. Of course, I'm never 100% certain, but listening for the direction from which the sound is coming combined with looking at the minimap allows you to pretty accurately guess what team the person who made the sound is on.

What? you only have to learn something like half a dozen spoken commands really for each foreign army. It's a breeze!
Turn on English Only and you have gone and kiddified the game!
Devs, ffs remove that option from the game settings or something. This is a mental idea, it's the same as watching a jackie chan movie in english dubbed, it never works!!

Yeah, I had some trouble with learning the British commands (Starfire?

), but all the other ones were easy after a while. And now, when I hear their equivalent for "I need a medic" from right around the corner...hehe

Serious how hard can it be, to get used to a few commands?
Especially when you playing PR more than once a week...

just check your minimap when ever one comes, up, if its not flashing in your vacinity i tend to ignore it...
i dont under stand how someone can play with all english voices though isnt that like a atmosphere killer?

^^^ Thats called laziness. Its quite simple to learn the commands, unless you have the iq of an eight year old.
How hard is it to learn 10 commands. Just listen and drill into your brain.
But of course thats too hard, as your life has been fed to you from a plate.

Hahahah I thought someone was suggesting a literal ceasefire option for commanders and such.
IRA tactics anyone?

uhmm... so is it possible to change/modify the commo rose or not?
another quite useful thing would be a STOP-COMMAND.... when some moron starts joyriding the APC and your kinda stuck inside

or a COVER ME.
