Am fed up with people complaining about the standard of other players, teamwork, Tkilling and so on.

If there are "noobs" and "smacktards" on our servers it is OUR fault for not showing them that teamworking squads is the only way forward.

The idea (i think) of PR is that a squad working efficiently and effectively is only stoppable by a squad that works better. A team working together should become stonger than its individual parts. This is what PR has that is seperate to all the others, its reliance on teamwork. This is what we come here for.

So even if the enemy is baseraping, bunny hopping, noob tubin, etc...the squad should be able to overcome this. Players should only concern themselves with the squad and its effectiveness, if they did this the complaints would reduce and the games would improve.

Now this does not mean you must follow squad leaders orders or get banned. Those people who are happy to be squad leaders need to encourage new players straight into squads and show em, that PR is about teamwork and VOIP. Not run a dictatorship.

PR (even with the guide) is still a complex environment for newcomers, we have to get these people onto VOIP and into squads and shape them into the soldiers we want, they will enjoy it more and so will we.

People can still run around on their own if they want too; they can act as "cannon fodder" for the organised squads.

RANT OVER......Come on people !
PS: No shooting me and saying "where was your teamwork now...noob" ;-)

Darnit!
My nefarious plans foiled again.

We do try to implement your ideas but we are human and if you have been playing for a while the repetition of stupid questions and even more stupid behavior becomes a strain and I am not one for repressing my feelings on any given subject in the forums never mind on VIOP.

We have had threads on the difference between a new player and n00b so we don't need to rehash all of that but I would agree that the veteran players should expect a wave of new players with all the challenges that brings and be ready for them.

I was thinking of tranquilizers myself...

I do find myself being shot by my teamates a huge amount. Its increased since v.5 for me. Even good clan members are shooting me, I think people just need to accept the fact that they need to check their map and verify their target before rambo shooting everything.

Yeah I totally hate it. They gotta wait and identify their target before pushing down on the trigger. What I hate the utmost is when It's totally obvious that im not an enemy (IE Standing on a rooftop and the guy on the one next to me shoots me.)

Technically, aren't you complaining now?

We have many threads for "noobs", in order to help. I suggest you read them.

Just rearrange a couple of letters in the text and you'll have "search".

Damn it! now my post count is at 3,006.

That's a stupid excuse! Change the word "boundries" to "boundaries" in my sig please :D

On the point of getting people to not be total newbs.... might help if they read the guide FIRST.

"Duh, how come I die when I get in the helicopter with a rifleman kit! And why can't I get MY sniper kit? There's some idiot sat 300m away sniping the enemy. Why doesn't he use his pistol like they do really?!!1/1/11/11"

just my 2 cents...

I played .5 on monday and it stunk BUT i ran into alot of new people and started chatting with them (in my squad)..all of them were new! i was suprised...we were the best squad in the round on qwai river....we LOST but it was great fun playing with new guys...they were fresh...followed orders and seemed keenly interested in what was going on...this is a big problem with alot of vets,,they actually play the game too much and develop very boring repetitive movements/paths/actions...

even if you mess up try to be original and think outside of the box...PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY...

btw...had the best fight for processing ive ever had on qwai..a real blast..enemy parked an APC and a TANK inside...hehe...good fun...cheers
