I just had an absolute blast on Basrah playing with the 82 squad, though I'm afraid that I didn't get a ss and that I'm really crappy at names. When I joined, we were already down to like 30 tickets, but we kept on fighting for an hour I think. Great teamwork, I had a lot of fun giving you guys supporting fire from the apc and racing after the SL's apc with my repair vehicle :p

Yeah, that is kina weak :)
Yeah, and that Alex chap wouldnt stop firing the miniguns on the BH for AGES. Iv played better organised rounds than that in a 9/64 server.

I was the commander for that round. You actually kept talking to me, which doesn't really happen all that often. As a result, I had the most intense commander round ever. I felt like an air traffic controller at a large airport...

At one point, SQ1 was in the mountains between the bridge and the dam, and 3 hostile APCs were coming towards dam from the bridge area. Squad 1 was desperately asking for help, and I didn't want to commit anything, because I was already yelling at the rabble to stay at the dam and defend (that BH that kept ferrying people between the assault ship and the dam wasn't helping either). Or, when we lost the dam, and squad 1 (or maybe it was someone else) was asking me to divert one of the APCs to the dam so that it could be taken back, which means more yelling at people and not knowing if it'll work. Add to that the attempts to construct a bunker/firebase (usually, you'll get about 20 people demanding those RIGHT NOW), which, among other things, resulted in me defending an APC against an ambush and reviving several wounded... In the end, I felt like I had a really heavy workload.

Oh, and btw, I use individual squad chat extensively. I find that it makes communication easier, and creates less confusion. So, if you don't hear me say something to another squad, it doesn't mean I didn't say it.

:d uh: forgot to mention the commander.

And Rhino, we had only one sniper (think, it was stolen from USMC) and a MEC Marksman. Somehow Marksman gets the ghillie suit :O
Mostly, we had the default kits in the squad, except for the SF (having body armor is a life saver :) ), and some RPGs and at one time, a Support kit to take out the USMC rally 150 m west of our position, which was placed very badly (we could see the USMC spawn back and engaged them immediately :p )

EDIT: No, someone requested another sniper kit during the round besides the Marksman  ...

I was SL of squad one, and was happily sitrep-ing the cmdr and offering up assets like APCs that our squad had 3 of, to reposition somewhere else in support of other squads. Not sure if it was daranz or R-PUB masaq who was commander at that stage. They were English anyway.

Was very enjoyable for around 30 minutes. Then my mobile went and I went afk for 10 minutes, then left the server to free up space on it :D

Squad list:
me
MrD
ArmedDrunk&Dangerous
3 others whose names were too complicated to remember lol (sorry lads).

These guys were great squad players. I also took the piss out of Mongol because he threw a hissy fit about the miniguns :D

That wasn´t me fireing the minigun, I didn´t fire it once. :-(

I´m not sure how I got that minus score. Must have been an incident on those hills near the bridge. Anyway that was a great game once I got in a good squad!

I've just had one of those nights, where every squad is possibly the best squad you ever fought with.

When 6 people hid just 1 meter away from a whole squad passing us by, and not one opening fire untill we got a good vantage point, thats a good night.

"Wait for it ... wait for it ... wait for it ... wait for it ... OPEN FIRE!" Hostiles got of about 5 rounds before they all died. None of them in our direction. Bloody brilliant. Go see the Player recogmendation thread to see who I'm talking about.
