why not have a voip channel where the whole team can hear you?
its annoying trying to work as a team when no one else on the team knows what to do and whats happening.

well actually it's the job of the commander anyway. They can speak to each individual squad and each squad can speak directly to commander.

if they're well organised they can get the squads working closely together.

How does the TS work? only people in your team can hear you? or everyone on the TS server? Do you start TS before or after you join a team/squad?

Everyone in Teamspeak channel. TS isnt related to BF2, its a stand-alone software.

Yeah, if you talk to them, you gotta push a key to talk, same as VoIP in BF2/PR...

EDIT: Well, if youre in the same channel, TS servers have multiple channels.

So how to you talk with your team/squad and the other side not hear? Just like B/V? in Bf2 voipd? What happens when the map changes and people change sides? Could you give me some more info I've heard about TS but i've never used it????

Teamspeak is a standalone software - means, its not just used to play BF2/PR.
Sometimes I logged on and just talked to the guys for 2 hours.

Im not in the mood to give the full explanation, so go to http://www.goteamspeak.com and read, says all.

Thanks for the link.

I could play PR on TS and have people playing on other games in my hearing and they could hear myself talking to my squad...........

I think i'll just stick to the VOIP, for now.

I haven't used TS in a while. Basically you can set up multiple channels and call them what ever you want. You run TS in the background before starting BF2. You can set hot keys or key combos (ctr + r) to change between channels even while in BF2. When I played bf1942 it was usually blue channel vs. red channel and you just switched between them after the map changed. With all the possible channels you can have tank crews only, your team, squad, everyone on the server if you like.
