I have seen many pictures of Saddams forces burring MiG-25 jets in order to let the insurgent forces battle the Coalititon from the air someday.

i suggest that the Insurgent forces have a MiG25 or MiG-29 in a large map such as Basrah? south of the palace?

An Al Basrah is far too small for jets - especially fighter jets.

Yeah, insurgents don't typically fly jets.

Yeah lol, this has been talked about alot. Where are the insurgents going to learn how to fly? And then, how are they going to learn to fly a military fighter jet? After they've magically learnt that, how are they going to learn to fly that specific aircraft?

Give the insurgent jets but make the buttons randoms, like if you press W it fire missiles, D turn you left, A eject you, left click make you turn right. That would be fun, wouldn't it ?

Let the insurgents have that jet in the pictures.
But they need a mechanic to repair it.
Should take about 2 hours in game time to get it flight ready.

I meant something like an Iranian mercinary (trained by Iranian army as pilot) and when you request a pilot kit, you have a jumpsuit(green), the life vest(Iranian Flag on it) and a helmet(Iranian or insurgent flag on it)

Iran is sending in Helzbollah terrorists to drive the Coalition out of Iraq so they can invade and cut off our oil supply and defeat us by destroying the Iraq-Kuwait oilfields and using Saudi connections with the princes to cut off our oil from there! (this is real! read around its all over) so whats to say they arent sending in a few pilots to use the Iraqi burried jets???

nothing is to say that!!!!!!! only problem is the burried jets dont have bombs, if you were to do this.....IF, the Iraqi jets woud have to have BIG AT guns

finally, the map ist to big for a jet.... if the jet goes fast enough(like the MiG-25 Foxbat) the map would be JUST right

Don't worry about them having no bombs, it won't happen.

Hasn't crappy planes for insurgents been suggested, too many times to recount.

Besides, Basrah is a ground map and should stay as such.

I'm not in the air force but I would guess that buried jet would take about 1000manhours to become airworthy and the Iranians don't have the best reputation as jet mechanics.
We don't need more jets just like we don't need more sniper rifles.

the thing has no wings. Not too many aeronautical or airframe engineers knocking about Iraq....they tend to emigrate for better work/pay.

Been suggested before, and would be a weak story at best imo.
