in another game i play you can either attach to a position or hop in the thing and just stand in it, now you dont want a whole team flying in on one blackhawk (actually you do cause youd get a lotta kills for blowing it up lol)

anyway its nothing big but it would be better for boats so noone gets left behind

Is this game BF2? I dont think it is possible AFAIK due to engine limitations.

Yup, like they said, the BF2 engine (oh how we love it) doesnt allow for this kind of thing. This is the reason we dont have helicopters that can carry cars, and why we dont have hovercraft, etc.

We all wish we could though

Im sure but the DEVs are not allowed to really mess with core game. Im sure if they were allowed they could make a few tweaks and make it happen. At least this is what i think.

like i said not too important, i noticed someonee said in suggestions add more seats so that oughta do just fine

btw can somone pm me on how the stats thing works, bf2 or mod stats?

they had hovercrafts in BF1942, also you could ride on a planes wing.

lol i didnt play bf1942 for too long, when i bought it bf2 came out

whats funny is i was gonna suggest fast ropes lol, went through suggestions and saw a few already, and honestly besides being cool it is usless

i have wondered though, what about flare guns? aside from being a light source, the could blind enemies using nightvisionor used as a method of signaling

Dont go down that path of fastropes or you be a devs worst enemy!

bf2 maximum capacity for a vehlicle is 8

You can jump onto boats, and hopefully if hte driver dirves slow enough he can take a couple more in with him.

It works in BF2.
Check the Merlin or V22. But unlike BF1942 we have to deal with much higher speeds.

one is good the other is bad

2. Dynamic light is not possible in game

3. Fast roping does have a purpose, it is used to insert troops into streets that would otherwise restrict the helicopters blades. however it is not possible in BF2.

In bf2 when guns shoot and light emits from the barrel it also lights the surrounding area. Is that not dynamic lighting? Isn't Dynamic Lighting an option in the graphics menu?

He means things such as headlights on cars, that move with the vehicle.

Bah, I get up from my chair on the Merlin and start to walk towards the ramp, as the pilot thinks, this is the vBF2 Blackhawk and he already droped us off, so he immediately pushes throtle and TKs us all....

the memories of bfv, u could get a whole team in a chinook, it was so cool landing in the middle of th NVA base unloadin 32 peeps ,

i like outlawz idea! and BF1942 was great and they had a mod that was working and doing fastroping. I loved having in BFv 32 guys in a helo but to many u could not move.
