What are the Marksmens gun. I think MEC is the SVD, what are the others.
I heard Marines had a M14, but isn't that a old gun. Like Korean war old. Just wandering.

M14 is still used, in modified versions, often with more rails than a railway. It's a very accurate, hard-punching weapon, exactly what's needed for the DMR role. M16 is Vietnam-era, but that's still used, right? And the AK-47 is really Kalashnikov Automatic Rifle, model of 1947.

And yes, the Marines - although the Marines in PR is more like the US military in general - use it.
The Chinese one's the sniper from vBF2, Type 88 or QBU-88 or something like that.
The Brits' one is the L86 LSW.

MEC has the SVD (to be change into something more realistic later), UK has a L86 susat, US has the M14 and PLA has the type 88
Insurgents also have the SVD marksman kit.

You're new to the game. I highly, highly recommend that you NOT request marksman kits until you have learned to use the four basic kits.

Speaking of the SVD, anyone know what the DEVs intend to replace it with for the MEC? PSG-1 maybe?

Its going to be replaced with the G3/SG1.
The PSG-1 is prohibitvily expensive for a military issue marksman weapon, as well as not being designed for the rigours of military use.
