search for "dubai, united arab emirates"

Great for a "Oman-ish" map. Add a nimitz class carrier with 20 F-15E's, and I'm fine! :muted:

Yeah I agree, USA + 1/2 of Canada would make for a PERFECT oman-ish map ;) I think your link is screwed up lol.

The Strike Eagle can't operate off of carriers... well, maybe it can, but it sure as hell can't land on 'em.

Well, I want a two-seater F/A-18 then (not sure which model). With LGBs capable of hitting a tank from 20,000 in game alt. (60,000 ft.). BTW, I have a book with a picture of an F-15 on what looks like a carrier.

1. :39_poscom 2. :bur2: 3. :35_rip: 4. :15_cheers :

This would be an awesome night map, with the lights of the city and a few 2-seater aircraft.

i might as well..

i was thinking of r/l and from that in real life the f-15e is modified version of the f-14 tomcat , the tomcat is still being used on carriers from what i think , the shocks on the carrier airplanes wheels or w/e are designed to take a hard impact landing on a short runway

Here is an idea, like there arent enough

China's 1st offenfive push to recapture Taiwan.
Us forces from Okinawa are sent in to help defend the small island just off the main land coast of Taiwan.

EDIT: All US F-14 Tomcat aircraft have been retired.

I am no expert but the F15 and the F14 are two entirely different aircraft.
One big clue would be the variable angle wings on the F14.
The F14 is made by Grumman and the F15 is made by McDonnel Douglas.
Another notable difference ( not visible in the photos ) would be the arrestting hook on the F14.
The F15 E is a modification of the of the F15C which in turn was a modification of the F15B which was a modification of the F15A.

A quick Googling reveals nothing concerning an F15 on an aircraft carrier.

Since the F15 does not have the hardware to connect to the catapault I think it unlikely that it could take off from a carrier either.

So basicaly what your saying is the F15 is just a modified F14?

Why do we need some crazy map with tons of aircraft. PR doesn't do the big air battle thing.

It was retired a few months ago, but, PR is around 2000 C.E., so yes, I think they are acceptable.
