why is the littlebird so weak? personally i think its a death trap and a VERY easy way for snipers, APC's, tanks and anything else with explosive weaponry. the littlebird doesnt even make up for its lack of damage resistance by being really fast and manouverable. personally i reckon you would be better off in the black hawk. it has LOADS of firepower, has protection for pilot, alot of damage resistance and doesnt move much slower than the little bird.

Hate to say it, but I agree. I don't see much use in using the littlebird in its current state. You would be better off hopping in a blackhawk or just spawning inland.

I really don't know where the littlebird is deployed in real life and what its uses are. The littlebird exists in real life because it's useful for something... they just have to take the 'something' and recreate it ingame. As far as I know, the MH-6 isn't supposed to be fast, but very maneuverable.

I'm guessing it's very useful in urban environments where you need to land in tight spaces.

the mh-6 little bird is a recon/spec ops transport in real life used for insertion of spec ops forces in tight places, its not meant to be tough or fast its designed to try and get in and out with as little notice as possible it should be very manuverable tho

It's not too bad, although one thing that needs to change is the icon in the map (looks like an attack heli!).

I was flying from the carrier inland with 2 other people aboard, and decided to do sideways 360 spin.. the other 2 jumped out at the first hint of this though.

I have to agree with you, the mh-6 littlebird is quite weak, and the soldiers are fully exposed, but there isn't much we can do against it. The armor of it is less strong as the other helis armor. Meaning that some good hits with the APC mainturret can shoot it down within a several seconds. The Mh-6 isn't locakable so AA can't lock on it (gameplay purpose) to make the players feel abit more securised within the mh-6 littlebird.

The only advice what I can give, is to try to fly as low as possible, so that you aren't fully. Also you should try to turn as less as possible to make it easier for your side passenger to aim and shoot down eventual threats.

usually my worst enemy is either the ground or the trees. yes, the littlebird is weak, but most of the time i manage to get my load on the place they have to be and manage to get back to the helipad safely.

I think the little bird is great it just takes some getting used to. Now it would AWESOME if it had fastroping!

i have another problem. two in fact.
1. i havent been on a single server where there wasnt a person over 300 ping. there is ALWAYS a person over 3 or 400 ping! i dont care what peopel say but it effects me. unless 256MB connection along with AMD ATHLON 64 3400+ 2.2GHz processor arent enough ??: i know i need to upgrade my graphics card really badly but i can play SP mode without ANY pc lag so it cant be me at all.

2. i forget...... he he i know this sounds ludacris but i forget the other prob..... too much thinking of what to say and how to explain last prob he he... ??:

@ problem 1: well i've been on numerous servers with people who all had pings below 100 at the very least so i guess you've just picked the wrong server...

yeah when i search whats in my filters are:

populated

large, medium, small maps

same mod

and it normally only comes up with about three servers or so. i try to pick the one with the lowest ping and the one on th map i preffer more.

@tezzer: simple answer, bf2 server browser sucks
