Does it run without battlefield 2 installed?

No, hence being a BF2 mod

yep. I know im weird. But ive never had a chance to play them but now i have an insane computer that can actually RUN BATTLEFIELD 2! I KNOW! OMG!

no i do i just dont feel like buying the expansions 10 bucks each

man dont waste your time with the expansion packs, the only one anyone plays is special forces, and that does not compare in any way shape or form to project reality. just get the 20 dollar bf2 and download PR and set aside all other games you have because you wont care about them anymore.

ive u wanna play w/o waiting i suggest you to go to your local video store and borrow a copy of BF2. install it with the key provided and have fun!
