Well i was wondering, it says only 1 player at a time gets the Sergeant Major of the Corps rank. Does that mean you have to wait in line to get the rank, only one person can have it in the entire game at one time or well what.


It seems confusing and id bet alot of people are wating to get to 2nd lieutenant

He's talking about the BF2 ranks. To the opening post, I'm not sure how it works, go check the forums on BF2s, they should have the answer. Those guys on that forums are devoted to stats/ranks so they can help you out.

It says that its the player that has the most points for that month.

To the OP NO you do not have to wait in line since EA does not give that rank out anymore ever since they implemented Officer Ranks.

When it was Around the way it was implemented was that the Person who was #1 In the world at the end of each month would receive that Rank.

If you were #1 for April you would be SMOTC for the Month of May, If someone beat you they would get that rank and you would be demoted to SM.

Yeh, tell them theres a USB key with 1.5 patch for BF2 somewhere inside a petroleum facility. Includes new unlocks, ranks and J10 with nuke bomb.

ah so the rank is gone, FTW! its like the higest rank in 2142 only one guy can have it. I bet everyone laughs at him

I've seen 2 SMotC active at one time: .:iGi:. Booyaka was one, and I can't remember the name of the second: both active on our server in the same game (ABR ranked for 0.5 at the time)..
This went on for a couple of weeks.

i hate 2142, apart from the titan mode, which i think is brilliant


anyway, i dont think anybody will get SMOTC in vbf2

What game has the best ranking system in terms of being anti-stat whore and showing actual overall game skill ?

to be supreme comander in 2142 you pretty much have to play KP servers for 10h straight every day or run your own server and leave your self idling as comander with a simple script keeping you logged in non stop.

basically they are all cheats and all get wiped 2 weeks after they get the rank anyway

ranks in BF2 dont really matter other than who gets possition as squad leader and commander. and the unlocks.

Never played 2142..... what makes titan mode entertaining?

I only played the demo, but it had a sense of urgency, which is nice.
