the forces in PR are the US forces, not USMC or US army .

Eventually we will split the current US into USMC and US Army and the equipment will be appropriate at that time.

Will the USAF still provide some CAS?

I would imagine so for the US Army, with the US Marines it may well depend on the map. Probubly USN/USMC support on carrier maps and USAF/USMC support on land based maps (if they're retained on land based maps, that is. Though I'd very much doubt they'd be only on amphibious assault maps)

They'd better. And by that I mean I hope they don't try and distinguish friend from foe.

Well, marines dont use the A10, they just call for air support, and just to show off the airforces sends in A-10s to obliterate the idiots standing out in the open and trying to hide behind sand banks.
