Mao Valley and Greasy Mullet should definitely go. There are some of the others I would like to keep.

mao is pretty good. I also liked inishail forest.
Muttrah is going to go because the 2nd version is coming. (not for 0.6 I think, but maybe for 0.7?)

Airport - Not much servers played it, so I wouldn't be surprised if it goes.
Mao Valley - Fun map but it's showing it's smallness and confinedness.
Muttrah City - Definitely going. Besides there will be a new, better version of it for future versions of PR.
Operation Compton - Not much servers played it back in 0.5. Heard it's a bad map, wouldn't be surprised if it goes.
Operation Greasy Mullet - Ehh...
Steel Thunder - That map is definetly going but I heard it may return for future versions of PR.
Goods Station - Not much servers played it, wouldn't be surprised if it goes.
Inishail Forest - Starting to show it's smallness but it was a fun map.

Only maps out of those that you listed that I liked are Mao Valley and Steel Thunder, the rest can go!

i reckon all the time that has been put into making the maps none of them should go. Servers can just leave em out of their rotation if they aint liked by all.

I think the devs said before they aint culling any anyway, just the ones that are getting later upgrades

we know what we are doing and with the new maps you will forget about them in no time, as the new maps far out way the old ones.

airport was a "community map", which basically meant it was a custom map made for vbf2 which we converted to PR :)

But there is no way you can keep all the maps in the mod, if you will then the mod will be damn huge and I'm sure no one wants that. So I guess we will just have to trust that the devs will remove the right maps. :p

Realize that each new PR version adds new rules and changes that need to be done in maps in what we call a map audit. That mean changes in all maps, all sizes, etc.

Maps are getting old and new maps come up with new exciting stuff.

So yeah, we wont stay with all maps from older versions in.

Operation Compton - While it had some game play issues, I thought it was in important map just because of the relevance of a map depicting an assault on an entrenched position.
Operation Greasy Mullet - This is the only map I'm truly surprised to see go. I'll never forget the amazing time I had in C4 with this map. It's epic, it's combined arms, it's PR, no?
Steel Thunder - This map is up there with Qwai and OGT as one of my favorite maps, and I'll be sorry to see it go. I loved the little side battles that would go on when two squads met in the forests.

I'll miss Mao. Proubly my favorate map of 0.5.

"Charlie in the Wire!"

damn man, I'll miss my jungle fighting. (OGT doesn't count as you very, very rarely actually fight in the jungly bits.)

Exactly. The only assault on entrenched positions, (hills is beachhead, bunkered assault).
Mao was cool, but is too small now.

Goods Station is too small now and Muttrah too unbalanced...

Then you must not be walking around in the jungly bits. I've had tons of em' in fuzzhead's squad.
