Next Gen games are a milestone away from current stuff, God Bless microsoft for providing us with a platform and technology to fabricate games and software that we usually only dream about, within a year i think we are gonna be seeing some of the most photo realistic games imaginable, so much for the PS3....

Has been suggested multiple times before.
The answer is no.

How's Crysis for large-scale, combined-arms battles?

Will anyone's computer actually be able to run Project Crysis-reality decently?

I think the answer is no.

Sweet graphics, though, and welcome to the forums! :D

1.) ALL these fancy features are not supported in the mulitplayer version of Crysis

2.) even if it did do you realise what kind of hardware you would need to run it at full graphics, people have trouble runniing an older bf2 graphics on their computer.. yes i agree peopel are cheap they need to spend some money and upgrade

3.) mulitplayer players are limited to 24 people, do you copy, thats 12 a side, that sucks

4) do u even realise how long it would take to make a new mod for a new engine, teh first part of project reality was realeasd ages ago and we just about getting to around 60 percent of it being finished (0.6 version)

5) this has already been mentioned around 100 times... and the answer is always a BIG NO

6) even if the DEVs wanted a new engine there are others that are much more btter suited.. unreal 3.0 engine being a great example.. check out the competition to battlefield 2 by CHAOS studios, i think its called FUEL OF WAR.. and is based on teh unreal 3.0 engine..

7) I hope that answers your query.. over and out

Ok, lets leave for a while crytek, Unreal, BFs engines and other particular thing's.

....I remember years 1994-5, playing multiplayer DOOM. I just dreamed about things that we have now. BF2, Reality, etc.

Who knows what we will have 5 or 10 years after.

And I still think, future is BRIGHT ;)

The 8800GTX is a good investment ;) You only really need one.

No.

I thought one would have been enough but on benchmarks with everything maxed on 1600x1200 crysis only plays about 52fps, hense why i considered getting a second, have to see how things go

and your right i havent but my bird aint doin to bad of a job lol

I am really lookin forward to next gen games, HD gaming from here on out

We've definately considered it - the technology is amazing, definitely. But is it too amazing? You need Vista to play it, and a DX10 card (Lots of money involved here). It's hardly worth it, not until 2008 when DX10 cards are cheap - and to be honest, I don't fancy buying Vista any time soon.

Maybe better consider making something to Call Of Duty 4 then, that game will be made in DX9 and looks very nice too

CoD 4 will probably be nice and all... but do you see usable Tanks, Jets and Helos anywhere?

Obviously I'm just speculating, but I think that despite all the great graphics, Crysis will suck.

It'll probably be cool for people new to gaming or younger teens, but after playing intelligent shooters I believe it'll be a pretty looking piece of garbage. Look at Insurgency. It's nothing but putting lipstick on a pig.

I'm hoping Sony's failed PS3 sends a big message to developers in the future. Your fancy graphics and nextgen engines are worthless if your game sucks.

You're talking about the future of PR's next gaming engine and the mod is barely done...

Why don't all you guys stop answering for us? K thanks. It's entirely possible that there's a player limit hack and we end up using this engine anyway.
