It is indeed a Marine APC.

The AAV-7A1. Would love to see it in PR, but thats a POE model.

Well someone did get POE's Leopard tank to use in PR and maybe we could do it again except using this APC. IT would be WAY more useful than trying to assault a fortifyed location wit a little RIB boat.

I've wanted to see this thing in PR for ages...

Well this would actually be a replacement for most of the LAV-25's in PR, along with some of the RIBs.

And I believe that the Leopard II tank is actually from Operation Peace Keeper (OPK) (which is part of Black Sand Studios, which POE isn't) rather than POE.

I think it was OPK's tank cba checking too late.
Would be sweet as anything to have that in PR.

Edit* Dang,Bob beat me to it

I believe the devs would need to get permission from PoE (unlikely unless both agree to a certain trade) or get them to join Black Sand Studios to use that model.

I also like how POE2 made their M4 sights with the front iron sights instead of a red dot and no iron sights.Image

actually, it does have a red dot, it just doesn't show on the screens.

Well in PR and in BF2, it doesnt show that front part of the iron sights, and i like how POE2 put it in game with the front iron sights, (and maybe PR could do it? :)

Daaamn that looks nice. If it was put into game, it'd prolly act as a Wheeled APC in similar roles as the Saxon or, hypothetically, the Stryker. Then their would prolly be an IFV role filled by things such as the LAV, Bradley, Warrior, BMP, etc.

I was a mechanic and driver of this lovely beast from 1997-2005 USMC. MOS 2141. It's such a great vehicle, but maintenance is a *****, and its very outdated. Not to mention is basically a floating aluminum can, all be it 2 inches think in most places. I have wanted one since Wake Island came to BF2v.

Some of the best attributes it would bring to the US forces is:
2- Water impellers in the rear pump out 14,000 gallons per minute,
1 M-2 Browning .50 cal MG nestled in turret right next to my favorite weapon to shoot. The Mk19 40mm Grenade Launcher. Watching high-explosive nade exploding at over 600 yards is a good time :D Also, there are three benches in the troop compartment, where 18-21 fully loaded Marine Infantry ride until the rear ramp drops...

That's the real action starts...

If the Marine Corps was doing a landing they would use these:
AAV: 1x.50 BMG 1x40mm GL

or the new toy
AAAV: 1x30mm Bushmaster 1x7.62 coax

:o

:D

Hopefully it'll be the AAV-P7.

Or an EFV that breaks down at least once every 4 hours (on average) :p

O'RLY?

In that case, I will have to wait by patiently... ;)

And if you need any military advice about this tracked vehicle, I would be more than happy to share my experience working, on and in, this vehicle for hundreds of hours...

Cheers!
