Questions for the devs

Will the U.S. Army be featured in Project Reality?

Will there be any maps that will feature a small group of spec ops against a larger enemy force, for example: U.S. Marine Force Recon vs. People's Liberation Army.

I'll post my other questions later... I can't seem to think of them at the moment

Yes. We intend to have nation/state factions represented by different branches of service, divisions/regiments, etc. on different maps.

Not sure how asymetric numbers can be forced when anyone can respawn until the round ends, but I'm not a coder. A special operations unit or task force may represent one faction on a map.

Now that is pretty easy in theory: you just need to have a custom autobalance which will enforce team ratio that is different from 1. I think some servers did that for omaha beach in forgotten hope, to account for the fact that you needed more allies to take the beach...

How easily that will be implemented in BF2 is left as an exercise to the modders (honestly I have no idea :-| ).

what your talking about for '42 was server side, whether it can be hardcoded into the mod is a different story i would imagine

agreed, lopsided numbers would be great and if not i think lopsided tickets would be next in line.
