Got a quick question, is there a patch to take .05 to .06 or is it a complete new download... if a new download, does .05 have to be uninstalled first?

It's a full release (not a patch). And yes, you need to uninstall .05 first (control panel - add/remove programs).
You also need to uninstall the beta version if you had it installed. Also through the add/remove programs ctrl panel.

I have not uninstalled first and had no problems to play.

It probably just over wrote the existing data in mods/pr/. It is certainly recommend to uninstall 0.5 first otherwise you will end up with two instances of PR in the add/remove list.

I have a couple things to say about this.
I really like this mod, I think it puts out what a real game should be like.
But I have a huge problem with having to download a 1.8 gig download after I already downloaded a 1.6 gig file. I notice that there are only a few PR servers out there. This really dissappoints me to see that I have to uninstall PR and wait 4 and a half + hours for a new version.
I will download it when I actually have the time to. But for me to just go from v.5 to v.6 it shouldnt take but 30 minutes at the most, for a download of about 200 mb.
Now I am not trying to disrupt anything here, but as a fellow gamer and seeing this wonderful mod, I am just putting my advice out there. A Full Install is great for someone who hasn't already gotten a previous version. Put a patch update for it, and I guaruntee that there will be returning players. I for one already know some people who are not willing to download another 1.5+ gig file again.
Thanks.
