Kashin?

So... we have our Transport Heli's, our Little Scout/Transport Heli's, tanks, APC's, AA vehicles and turrets of all sorts, AA aircraft, AT aircraft, practically everything. Except for the Attack Heli's. Personally, I'm wondering why we don't have our AH-1Z (I think that's what is is...) or the MEC equivalent on the Kashin map. It's definetly large enough of a map, and it would seem realistic enough for such vehicles to be employed in that situation seeing as they're bringing in next to everything else. Am I missing something obvious, or... what? :? :

One i think they think its not needed and would *** to much overkill for the guys in the air and two because the DEVs didnt want to put it in there.

why they put a light chooper like the litle bird in a big combat zone like kashran? those choopers are used for spec. operations , not for big battlefields .

also agree , attack choopers will fit well in the map if only they spawn when both bunkers are captured .

i totally agree with this thread, i always wondered why theres little scout choppers on kashan that cant even dent tanks with theyre guns and not full fledged gunships like the cobra. it also doesnt seem very realistic to use those kind of choppers in a open desert map. some people say, well if you had cobras/mi 28 in the map they would totally rape the tanks and it would be pure overkill. and to that i say simply, just have 1 per team, with a reasonably long respawn time. plus i think theyres enough AA assets on this map to make life pretty hard on a cobra anyway.

plus with gunships on Kashan that may stop the tankers from perching on top of the mountains because they would be sitting ducks to any choppers

But since the release of the beta I've also been wondering why in gods name is there a littlebird with miniguns? :D On a heavy armor map! That's the type of LB which makes the least sence to put in there. A transport LB or a heavily armed LB do make sence imo.

Yeah, its really funny when people go attack an AA gun emplacement or a T90 convoy with LB Mini's

I use it to spot tanks for the A-10/Frogfoot and to engage softer targets like Vodniks/Humvee's. You can use it as a quick mode of transport to get a squad leader to one of the bunkers...when he's there the rest of the squad spawn's on him.

LB dont suit in this map , they are more for tactical insertions in cityes

You know whats really effective?

Getting every SL on the LB, taking them to the flag, and THEN allowing the SMs to spawn at the same time.
