Right now some or most of the new players skip the playerguide and go directly to the a-10 and start whining about dying after 10 sec.

So to cut back on this (it wont eliminate the need for your "rtfm" macro button) I suggest changing the "message from EA, Download highway tampa now" we have now to a message saying something like "welcome to project reality, If your new to the mod dont forget to read the player guide" and then have the Open button link to the 60 sec newbie guide or the wiki or something



I know this isnt hardcoded since the sandbox mod has changed it.

although im not sure they can be edited, due to DICE's advertising campaign, although point of existence was advertised on it...

I think it should be changed to "Before you b*tch about anything, RTFM."

It would get the point across better.

ye, we are planning a "message from BSS" infact, just couldn't do it before 0.6 was released thou

wait.... there's supposed to be an image there? All I get is a black box =(

I definitely think a standard message that all members of BSS display.
This could be a great place for each mods that are members of BSS to advertise new releases.
This would help to encourage more people to download all the mods in general.
