Explosives need to be more explosive.

Dev's i've noticed that the slams are'nt as powerful as .5(Which i kinda like now since the insurgents/militants cant steal a spep-ops kit and blow the apc anymore) But the c4 it needs to be stronger, I hate that it takes 2 c4 to blow a tank(Especially in kashan when no light/heavy at kits are around i go engy and sneak up on it) I'm not saying make c4 one hit kill against tanks just make it strong enough to bring down the tanks to red so one hit from light at can kill it.

Slip a land mine under one end of the tank, stick C4 on the other. Det the C4, tank moves, sets off the mine, goodbye tank.

or u put the c4 on the front track, which will track the whole tank

Yeah, if you're that lucky enough to get a tank with one crewman in it. The chances for the average PR player to get that close to a tank with two crewmen would be pretty hard...

heck yea! major explosives FTW!! maybe you guys should make a new weap for the insurgents: the IED. simmilar to an AT mine but with a MASSIVE explosion. and obviously it would look weird since its improvised

Very true.
But at the moment, due to the influx of new players its currently a "happy time" for low tech tank hunting. In a few weeks it wont be and tactics will have to be refined to draw tanks into close quaters and such.

The ambushers of the insurgent team get IEDs. The C4 and detonator are placeholders until they visually look like IEDs. An IED that would be like an AT mine probably won't happen.

I'd like sounds fixed.
Right now all explosions sound like vBF2 C4 boom. Its sort of ridiculus.
You'd expect a big kaboom and quake, when artillery strikes, not some random pop-pops, that dont scare anyone...and shot a tanka nd sounds like some pop boom again...cmon

I have noticed that the C4 seems a bit weak. One C4 can't take out an APC, though maybe the blast is directed? I'm not sure as I don't often serve in a roll other than rifleman or AT in a combat situation.
To the OP: Insurgents CAN pick up Spec Ops kits AFAIK...

You can only damage the APC with Slams and critically with C4.
I had some nice IEDs on 7 gates for the British IFVs
Even picked up a SF kit and Slam'd the IFV soloing around and watching his *** blowing up, when he thought it was safe again

Yeah, I had my SL throw a flashbang, when IFV exploded, looked awesome instead of some kapow and a vehicle turning into charcoal

Turn your Efect Settings to high, and you'll see a flash in explosions.
They could be turned up a bit, but that's probably a non issue at the moment.
