almost every time i read through a post some one tends to bring up fastroping from a black hawk, and yet they are told that it cant be done, so why do people bother to bring it up again and again?

because they dont look throught the forums before they sudjest... were all new at times and we cant all be perfect

I asked about it (a loooooooong time ago) because on another forum somebody said that PR had it.

Fastropes are used in real life and would be very useful in PR. Unfortunately nobody has figured out a way to make them work so we don't get them.

I think even if you could get it to work AND the rotors had a collision mesh or whatever so landing near buildings would actually be dangerous fast roping would still suck and really just invite RPG practice from the other team.
Besides, at this point both BHD and fast roping put my iconoclastic tendencies into high gear.

Just land on a roof with ladders. The soldiers would be more protected too.
