Less Than Lethal Ammunition

I was reading the "Shotguns" thread and this spawned an idea. Is there any way shotguns could get beanbags or rubber stingers in their normal arsenal of buckshot and slugs? I think this could be very effective in the maps with insurgents and civilians. When a civie gets shot with one they could go into the critically wounded screen, but instead of "You are critically wounded respawn in 15 seconds" it could say: "You have been stunned recover in 15 seconds" and after the respawn time you get back up just like you have been revived by a corpsman. This would increase the purpose of engineers, and make the U.S. and British a much more formidable apponent in those maps. Ideas?

Just the thought of shooting those annoying civilians makes me approve of this, but I'm pretty sure you cant automatically revive players.

Well I'm talking about map exclusive stuff, and with maps without civilians doesn't even need the LTL ammo.

And what would stop someone from stunning a civi, waiting for them to get up, then stunning them again, and doing it over and over to rack up points and frustrate the civilian?

If it has the shell shock effect with the warbly screen that would work quite nicely.

Just a technicality here, but it's "less lethal", not "less than lethal". The reason they're called "less lethal" is so that it's still apparent that they can cause fatalities, though this is not their intended use.

I was watching a show called Gini pig and they shot this guy with tons of LTL ammo and he coughed at almost every thing so make there be like the bleeding out cough but with the wobbley screen or blurred vision not as bad as bleeding out of course!

non-lethal crowd control weaps...sounds cool but would be kinds dumb...all you can do i subdue civillians

I like it but maybe you can make it so that when regular insurgent combat soldiers get hit they dont get stunned after one shot maybe 2?

oh ya that would bea good idea, that way you could still have a normal gun and be able to pwn, but also b able to switch to non lethal ammo when spammed by civs. nice one chuc!

done( target gets a flash stun) only stuns on hit contact.

i dont think any LTL ammo should be in this mod.
If there was LTL ammo then playing a civilian wont be as much fun as it is. I absolutley laugh my *** off when i get 8 soldiers 5 meters behind chasing me.... all for a knifey (happend today, there was 8 lol). also i love it when when you get to an area they cant go, like a roof, balcany, or in the water.
Eventually you get about 2 whole squads just staring at you... studying you like a specimen in a lab, while you throw rocks at them.... so awsome.
