Both not worth the effort.

I know it IS IT NOT hard-coded as you can just use the place-holder M249 SAW, just like how the shotguns use different ammo with the same gun. The one thing that is just missing is a new reloading animation .
Would you happen to know if fast ropes were hardcoded?
Both not worth the effort.

Mk 46 mod 0 & M249 mk2 (?) doesn't have back-up feed with STANAG magazines now as they find that it was :
a) useless , as M249 had rpm of 1000-1100 with them and they used all ammo in the mag less then in 2 seconds
b) made M249 more expencive and heavy

A better suggestion would be asking for an ELCAN optic to be placed on the new FN Minimi model

If you're burning through your ammo in a minute or less, you're not properly using your issued weapon and should have your qualification for the weapon revoked or have to endure remedial training.
When the weapon stops firing when you pull the trigger, you're out of ammo......get to cover and reload.
Since we never really see the separate mags or boxs except as part of the reload animation, I don't think "carrying extra m16 mags" will serve any purpose. Have someone drop you ammo, get back to a supply location or crate.

WRT the 30 round mags, they have a lot of probs with jamming in SAWs. Also would require an entire new model, so not gonna happen. Cant show 2 different mags on the same weapon interchangibly.

So what you guys are trying to say is this will probably be in 0.7
I know it IS IT NOT hard-coded
Fearious you really love to word your posts to ensure flaming 95% of the time. If you perhaps were less demanding and all knowing you might get a warmer response in the future.

I have thought something similiar for the .50 on vehicles.
Wouldn't you be able to see if you had 1/2 or 1/4 of the ammo box left ?
I know that when I board a vehicle I always reload the .50 so I don't get caught out w/ only 10 rounds in a firefight but I also know that sometimes the gun has only fired 2 rounds and I just chucked the other 98 but there is no way to tell so.
Better safe than sorry.

Why ask him? As it seems, Crusader and his friend have figured this long ago. Oh what an awkward situation is it that his friend does not allow him to talk about this....
I guess we have to kidnap one of them....who's with me?
