Some maps have that new light skin for the MECs that looks so much like the US the only way to really disguish them apart is looking for a beard.

There I said it.

Is this going to be addressed or is it for reality/difficulty factor?

How's it off topic? It's not a bug and it should be discussed. I think...

I saw a US standing above my MEC squadmate yesterday for a second or two, could tell he was thinking "why is this guy wearing US clothing?" Then I killed him. I've heard others say the same thing regarding their gear numerous times in game since .6...so I thought I'd get some feedback as to what others are thinking because I haven't heard it addressed...Capice?

I like the Skins, why should the US only have desert Camo ?

you can identify by beard, guns, helmets and actually - movement.

its slightly different, or at least i think all teams move slightly different ... :D

I never had any problems with the skins, they are similar but still not so hard to tell apart, and you alway got your map to tell if they are hostiles when you are engaging enemies at 300m+

They are new to 0.6, why should they be removed again?

Hmmmm...I guess I'm imagining things. Imagining 4x the amount of TKs, imagining numerous other teammates saying I can't tell them apart, etc. My fault...I mean for me, no problem, I can deal. I just wanted to see what people thought about it. Apparently, it doesn't exist!

I agree, I think on Operation Phoenix it's a little too difficult to tell friend from foe. Having said that, I think the new color scheme looks great for MEC.

Well, the world ain't in black and white.

Why should they have different camo?
Why should they be at a disadvantage to americans?
Many camouflages look the same, not "Team Red" and "Team Blue".

I agree with you Shooty. But this will not be addressed. They knew what they were doing when they made them harder to tell apart. They like it this way.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's right or wrong...just wasn't talked about and I felt like it was one of the most important changes in .6 and could use some "general discussion"

Noticed that too! I thought I was the only one...

I like the new MEC cammo. Feels very middle eastern in design. Only thing I wonder at is their crewman hat.

Speaking of hats and helmets, does one of the MEC kits retain the old green helmet with webbing? I swear I see it around sometimes...

Spot them out first and if it says "Enemy troops spotted" then light them up. Or you can just check your minimap...

I had that problem at first too, it's just a matter of gettin used to it. It took me about 2 days to become familiar with the slight differences between MEC and USMC.

this doesn't always work; sometimes you're in a building or a possible enemy contact is by a tree and no matter what you do you still can't get the spot to register, the question mark ends up 2 feet in front of you at the window, or you can't make the spot stick through the tree branches.

not that this is a huge problem or anything. i'm just sayin'

i use the mini map expand function all the time

I've never had much problem telling them apart, only at distance but then I just spot them. Although sometimes I press the fire button too fast and shoot instead of spotting and did it once yesterday and killed a friendly :? ??:
