Now lets get one thing striaght. Its great that new people are playing PR and geting to know the game by playing public servers, but when they dont read anything about the game before they start or ask anything thats what can p!ss me off. heres the scenario: Im commander and i drive the support truck with the 1 or 2 machanics up to the closes flag to the front line that isnt under attack. and then i hope out and start of with the bunker when I hear the support truck start up. I see some random squad member has spawnd in the truck and is driving it away. now before he even gets outa range of me i tell him very politly "DONT DRIVE THE COMMANDER TRUCK AWAY FOOL!"

But to no avail. he just keeps driving. and as he goes outa view i look at the mini map to see the commander truck icon stop right at the front of battle. then the little bugger gets out and his icon immediately dies. a second later the commander truck is gone. now i have to wait 10 minutes for another commander truck. even though i have got supply jeeps the can only carry 1 other person and im gonna need more than that to get things working.

this will aslo happen with the insurgents.
check spawn map - spawn cars everywhere
check map 10 mins later - spawn cars all at front line or in the open
check another 10 mins later - 3 spawn points left including the main

I thought the CO's truck would could be respawned immediately for a total of 2 on the battlefield at one time.
I was bitching last week at a CO on 7Gates about driving the truck right up to the river fort because it would take 10min to get another one and he replied that it did not take 10min and he was respawning them as soon as they were destroyed.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the CO's truck should be used as a 1 man, 1 way taxi and a kick vote is a great way to get the guys attention to that fact.

You should have shot the guy. I remember once, of Kufrah, the commander was trying to convince an apparently AFK guy to get out of the car. He asked him to get out 3 times, via chat, and nothing happened. Frustrated, I walked over to the driver side, pulled out my rifle, and shot the driver in the head. Then, I said, "there you go, commander!"

yeah my new policy (thanks to ADA) when it comes to spawn cars,

If your a noob and your driving the spawn car i will kill you.

What we need in PR is a picture on some of the billboards in the respected maps that shows a dead guy in a car and says "Car Jackers will be shot on sight!"

I always warn my team of that before the round begins. Most of them don't listen anyway. I try to do it the simple way of standing in front of the car and shouting "Negative" at them. I will usually stand guard next to a random car that is placed in a good position for a few minutes or so.

yep, In fear of some sort of ban i will say that in some rare occasions team kills are needed. even ive done it when someone wont get outa the car. or they wont let me through a gate cos they just stand there.

yeh i hate the people that will take a spawn car and leave it in a ditch or a river or crash into a tree and get smoked by an apc.

i think if you are driving a spawn car and it gets destroyed you get a +1 min spawn timer for being stupid

if you were the last driver and the car is in a river you should get a +5 min spawn timer because thats so friggin annoying and it needs to be sorted out.

How come the commander truck is not set so only commanders and engineers can move the truck?

Yeah, wondering the same, unless they all spawn as Engineer, which I doubt...

I believe it is locked to CO and Engineer.

cant be my squad leader grabbed it yesterday when the comander was doing nothing as we drove a little in it before hiding it in the forests and going on foot.
