was playing Assult on the mesta (meand that words spelling arent best freinds) and i was in a militia squad and we had a guy in a squad with the heavy at who the squad leader told to use it for bunker busting wich i thought was a good idea, that is until im guessing the brits got angery with this and started to cry about it. I would just like to know why would u cry over somthing done in real life? since this is PR after all.

Because someone doesn't like losing and is a crybaby?

I think this was discussed longly before; and I think the conclusion was that HAT and AT was not acceptable to be used against infantry in the open, but could be used against reinforced structures and building with infantry in them (e.g. bunkers). I think some mentioned it would be ok to use Light AT (or perhaps more the RPG) against larger groups of infantry.

It wasnt acceptable to use them on single infantry, but groups of infantry were fine. Anyways, bunker busting with that is fine IMHO.

Thank higher powers. Cause I've ordered my squad to do that same exact thing not 5 hours ago.

Can't see anything wrong in that. I guess they just started crying because they found out the hard way that their scaredy cat hiding place was not so safe.

i think we even need anti bunker projectiles for the ATs (i don't know if the US have something like that but in germany there is a variant of our AT "Panzerfaust" called "Bunkerfaust" used against concrete bunkers

Bunkers get blown up all the time. Whether you use C4, LAT or HAT, it doesn't matter, as long as it gets the job done! :p

What, next thing they're gonna whine is about you throwing grenades into their precious bunker?

I don't see anything wrong with clearing a bunker with an at round.
It's a pretty effective tactic which is why someone might cry about it. But I don't see anything wrong with it.

On Mestia the Brits could use H At against single infantry too because there are no tanks.
My objection to using H AT against infantry is simply that you won't have the ammo when the tank rolls up.
Dead is dead, be it rocks, petrol bombs, knives, crushed by ATVs, jeeps or the nose of a Merlin...
As mentioned above....mother of invention ....wait...wasn't that Zappa's band ?

Well, Milita should not have H-AT in the first place.

A very successful (and method taught to AT specialised soldiers) secondary use of anti-tank munitions is bunker-busting in reality. So is targeting helicopters with them.

Offtopic, when will Eryx and SRAW get fixed with that annoying drop?
I know, they are wire guided, but on maps like Kashan, where you fire one at a tank and it falls down 1/3 of the way to there...

GAZ -

Please look into the item I described that you deleted from my post. I believe it to be a bug.

Thanks
