could there be a message when you kill a civilian? I think it would help educate all the new people really fast and make the rounds more enjoyable. Im also tired of spamming "DONT SHOOT THE GREED SHIRTS" over the global text ;-)

I think that would be a good idea. Another idea is when you kill a civilian, you can ask the squad leader or maybe the commander for "forgiveness" and they would be able to allow you to spawn in at normal time as if it were a vote. For example if you see two civies kill a Brit with stones, and you kill them in return, your commander could excuse you if he sees fit.

This is stupid because the commander would always excuse his soldiers, as it is in his interest that they respawn sooner to win the round for his side.

The punishment is ok the way it is.

Well in that case I think civilians should become combatants if they kill anyone. Because I was playing Helmand Province the other day, and I watched as two civilians threw rocks at a fellow Brit from a roof top, they killed him, so I shot the two down. It makes sense.

Ahh, the stone... a true instrument of destruction.

I can only imagine an army of civilians running up to lone infantrymen and killing them.

its annoying though when your bleeding out and cant see properly for a civ rock to kill you.

i think if they kill with rocks they either should auto die or become killable

If you become that isolated from your squad then you deserve to be stoned to death and its entirely realistic

i do not think any of the other suggestion are either realistic or feesable, though. This idea alone is just what PR needs.

Then what is the point of having the rocks if they are auto killed for using them? If they become killable (i.e. the US/GB soldier is not penalized for killing), then they would also have to not be insta-killed when they pick up or man a weapon. This defeats the purpose of having a non combat class. If you are defenseless enough to allow a civilian to kill you with a rock, you are obviously not doing something right. The civilian is obviously sympathetic to the insurgency, so one of a civilian's jobs is to distract and annoy the enemy while not presenting a threat high enough to warrant retaliating with deadly force. I don't see a problem here - stick with your squad, knife the civilians you can, use their locations to gauge possible insurgent hot spots, and ignore the civilians you can't get to.

I dont see, how a civilian could get close to you when youre bleeding out, unless youre lone wolfing and wounded or the damn medic revived your *** and ran away...

I think it should stay the way it is. Stay with your squad and knife the civs while looking for insurgents in the area. I've played enough games to say it's perfect the way it is now and that's the way it should stay. It's all about teamplaying.
