Downed Teammates

This has come to mind quite a few times while playing BF2, I've no idea if this is actually possible to do through the BF2 engine, but I think it would be an interesting & very helpfull addition if you could add it.

Too often, I find myself stuck on a street corner with a huge bunch of dead team mates in front of me, because of an APC or a .50cal around the corner, and there's nothing much you can do apart from wait for them to respawn and catch up with you again.

I think that we should be able to drag downed teammates accross the ground, so that they may be taken into cover while you wait for a medic to arrive. Of course this would mean increasing the time that a player lies on the ground in critical condition - which as another issue that needs addressing IMO.

Would this be possible?

I think medic smoke grenades could really make their day easier.

how about a little bullet proof tent you could set up in the street while you operate! hehe

Go on. You know you want to flame me :)

I agree with you there, smoke should definately be added to the medic class. People might argue that keeping them to the assault class would encourage teamwork, however sometimes you simply don't have enough time to explain where & when you want it placed...

Give Medics smoke grenades, please!

The dragging of wounded teammates have already been suggested in an older thread about medics.

Addingsmoke to the medic kit shouldn't be too hard and a good idea it is too.

Adding smoke won't help imo. You scan for names then shoot the medic.

As long as names are shown smoke is useless.

I think medics should be able to hit the "get in vehicle" button by a downed teamate and then he slings him over his shoulder, but then the medic would ony be able to move walking speed.
