The USS Essex [gun]

Hey,

Can it -please- be lowered in power (not against air units!), like that the missies will do 0% damage against infantry/ground vehicles, of possible, and a much higher reload time.

The USMC have a hard enough time already.

Missiles kill, why should it not be like that ingame?

Hm, people often forget about the other CIWS near the bridge of the carrier... Double the missiles, double the bullets, double the fun! You should be happy only one of CIWS was actually being used.

The missiles shouldn't do any damage to Tanks and APCs. Everything else they should kill outright. All they are is flak missiles. They are designed to explode before they hit the target and send shrapnel into them. This means they are deadly to anything unarmored.

You can only destroy the Essex, if you park a tank at the most southern point of the beach, a little peninsula, from there you can see onto the carrier, if you have your view distance maxed out, that is...

And while you're there you might as well blow up all the aircraft on the carrier as well :-P

i remember that round, i was on US and if i remember u had all of ur armour on the beach, basically so u could see onto the carrier, and the AA got raped when the armour found outwat it was, then me and [R-DEV]WNxJaymz got into the second cobraand took out all of ur vechiles =D

now did I not tell fuzz not to up the view distance on Gulf of Oman for this reason?

and you can't move the carrier because lightmaps would need to be totally re-done

you mean spit? then you would 1, need to include the new client files with the release, 2, relightmap the terrain and 3, drop the map cos its not worth having it with the new client files :p

EDIT: also its not just on that small area of the coast, most of the coast you can see the carriers outline on.
