Crashing PR

Hi all,

To start with, FANTASTIC mod guys!!! Brilliant, I tried 0.5 but was addicted to POE2 (sorry if thats a swear word :p ) however i did keep an eye on PR throughout development for 0.6.... but got sidetracked with Uni work to really try the beta...

So i (finally getting to the point) downloaded the finished product today, taking 4 hours from a link from this site, no problems during download, the mrs is in bed so i thought id try PR...

So i get into the multiplayer, can see the servers but the game crashes about 6% into loading the game...

Is this a widespread problem or my download corrupted??

was on a different pc... i played it at xmas... and got a new pc easter

BF2 + patch 1.41

Uninstall all PR on your cpu and reinstall the final release.... Should work!

hey all... cheers for that link, and have already reinstalled it, looks like there was a dodgey bit in my exe as i get the following message....

(ive attached it to this post i think...)

O well best go into uni and use the 10mb/s dl rte and get this mother down again!

did you modify the bodyarmor.tweak if so you shut replace the back up and it shut be working great then :P

grrr... getting annoyed now... im downloading from one of your mirrors ( multiplay as it is most local, and its got down to 55kb/s and now decided to stop (im using DAP) and ive got to start again, for like the 100th time!!!!

Downloaded it in uni, unfortunatly they wont let me burn to a dvd and it wont fit on to my iPod!!!!!

erm, no... unfortunatly my ISP limits the dl speeds on torrents so it seems...

God knows how, but whenever and whatever i dl, i only get around 2kb/s...

however nipping into uni and dl all the files on this site takes 1hr at 10mb/s....

So... i should well be on tonight if all goes well!!!

Any server suggestions?

Just make sure you read the tutorial to know how to get kits & such, I recommend Tactical Gamer, the game quality there is usually high.
