I have not seen 1 server ever have an Apache or any other gunship on any other map minus OG BF2 maps. What am I missing???

You just haven't been playing the right maps.
Al Basrah has the Apache in it

No it doesn't, at least not the 64p or the 16p.

Play Kashan 32p, you'll see the gunships there. Or try Gulf of Oman, it has them too.

According to rumours the apache slipped of the Al Basrah map, it's supposed to be there but doesn't spawn.

I think Gunships are well done in PR...Jets are still getting worked on. IMO PR should utilize this strength as much as possible. Al Kufrah seems like it would be loads of fun to work with a chopper supporting the tanks. Throw in some AA stuff from Commanders and an AA vehicle....that might be nice. I'd love to see choppers sitting back and following the Tank squads around and helping them. On TG server I'm sure you'd see some of that awesome action once in a while.

It'd bring a whole new level to the commanders role there....him setting up a firebase\bunkers with AA gun. I'm just speculating...sometimes I love Kufra as tanks only.

thanks for the update on the Apache situation. I am sure the modders are aware of it. I have simply not heard much about it and I anticipate great fun flying those sucka's
