i no this idea has already been posted and everything but this would be a big leap for pr mean fastroping in a blackhawk is comen with urban eviroments and heck in the game joint task force when u get reenforcements they fast rope so y should bf2 be differ this would half to be a thing were its limited to blackhawks and maybe the merlin but they would only carry a few ropes

i would think pr would want this to be a relistic game well would give it that different feel for the players, for example ive been flying in v.509 in blackhawks on certain maps mostly urban if i would of had fast ropes on board i could of set them down on a allyway or city street instead of on a main highway or out of the city not close to were they wanted to go, its those limitations that hold the vetteren pilots back. im steady enought with a joystick that i can hover over a extremely lower build surrounded by 6 or tall ones one wrong move there everyone in the heli is dead

Well, he wouldn't know that, would he? Anyways, welcome.

And now, to the point. Fastroping - AKA the F word - has been suggested about a million times before, to the point that it's become a sort of internal joke. If you'd used the Search function, as is recommended - I'm sure Vikingo will drop by to tell you so - you'd see that it's been suggested and is very hard, if not impossible, to implement for no gain whatsoever. So I'm afraid your suggestion has no future and will be locked soon.

And proper spelling and punctuation is your friend.

Will IBTL become IBTV sometime soon? Who knows...

Anyways yeah welcome to the forums. Speaking the F word is a horrid way to start off. I'm sure most members hate you by now :-/

Why does everyone want fast-roping so badly? Honestly I can't even see myself using it in PR/BF2. (Unless maybe making a PR-themed movie)

I know somewhere out there, a grammar nazi has just died. Also, why not just drop off the guys on a roof? Practically every building in PR has a latter. Not to mention I get dropped off in small areas all the time and it never (usually) seems to bother my pilot.
