Gamemode /Kit questions

Heya,

Read the manual but a few things i am unclear on:

In insurgency (as conventional forces) - when a cache is revealed, a red circle appears which donates a cache. The cache looks like what? could somebody post a screen shoot please.

When a cache is destroyed - does the red ciircle disapear from the map?
What is required to destroy a cache and what effect does the destruction of spawn cars have on these modes/map?

Finally one kit question - which conventional kit has the grapling hook? and how do i access it? Guide says engineers but its not listed on my item list - is this map specific?

I am reading from the guide accessed as a link from this site - is there a more complete guide anywhere else?

Many thanks,

Will

Dun have screen of weapon cache but you should instantly figure out when you see one. Weapon cache is somewhere near those red circles, not always in middle of em and when cache gets destroyed, the circle disappears. Basicly you can destroy caches with anything that does damage, c4, slam, gun, crashing jeep on it, shooting it with APC :)

Grapling hook is map specific, militia's scout kit has it, brits engineer kit and insurgents civilian kit, it wont show it in the items list but press 9 to use it, once you have thrown it you can pick it up by pressing G and use it again.

Many thanks - it seems that few understand this concept. Have logged on several times to a server called UK teamwork and tactics (i think) and almost every game, there are multiple cache circles displayed but nobody ever seems to blow them up.

It is a dedicated insurgency server from the look of it but maybe i am playing at the wrong times because everybody just seems to be running around aimlessly..

Yes, some ppl just don't know what to do.

Also there's a little bug in Insurgency - after destroying ammo dump in the area of circle, the circle should disappear.
Then it's possible, that nobody is searching for it in the area, just because it was already blown.

I suggest you to note the coordinates, where ammo dump's been already destroyed (that's what I do).
