I'm surprised at the quality of members who wear the PR tag.

Just played with my squad leader "CallMe Pepe" on Mestia and every time we capped a flag as Brits we would get sniped by heavy AT positioned on the hills.

We discovered that these players wear PR tags and i couldn't tell who exactly was sniping but it seems all the PR(MED) players were in on it.

They got into an argument with my squad leader when he told them it was noobish to play like that and that's when they started insulting us. We even diverted our mission of capping a flag because it was pointless getting killed by rockets from the other side of the map.

I don't know the exact names but PR MEDI Kravixon and PR MEDI WOLF were the ones insulting us and they had scores like 35-1 or something like that.

Since most new players form an impression of a MOD like PR by observing how its played, i was wondering why are these official PR players are playing like little kids?

Also people come to forums and complain that Vanilla Players are a-plenty and smacktarding around while in-fact its our own rotten apples ruining it for us. Shame to those who play like smacktards

Ok that was the MEDI from the tourney lol. They are actually probably testing out tactics for the up coming battle where they will be playing as Militia in Assault on Mestia.

H-AT is perfectly OK to use against infantry as far as I am aware. it is done in RL and if they wish to waste thier H-AT kit doing just that then fair enough

I think thats partly why they have cut down on the free ammo this version to stop people spamming HAT rockets like they were bullets, they cost 70,000 each to buy afaik but this is not reflected in ticket cost in game due to engine limitations.

IF the commander spawned 10 commander trucks for easy spawning and they all got blown up you might think the guy was an idiot because it'd cost the team possibily the game, same should be true for HAT

Well, if you got H-AT sniped, then do something about it, rather the repeating the same thing all over and complaining.
The Militia team could say, that IFV is nub, becuase he sits on the road and snipes anything, he sees.
Do they whine? No, they blow his *** up

Them MEDI guys cause a lot of trouble sometimes.

Seriously, it has been said multiple times on these forums by members of the dev team that it is alright to use H-AT for "bunker busting".

Also, when playing Militia/Insurgents, non-conventional use of weapons is not forbidden.

Yea - there's always 2 sides to a story isn't there and of course the complainant is the innocent party being "abused" isn't he.

Wasn't there so don't know the details but a SS would be interesting.

Did you and your squad ever think about trying to eliminate those guys before trying to cap the CP?

Yeh, why did'nt you flank them and take them out instead of complaining. Anything goes in battle i say!

my SL killed the heavy AT guy but they kept spawning back and raping the base from other "unknown" locations.

To the PR players who were doing this, shouldn't you create a test server for such things instead of ruining a Saturday afternoon for other serious players?

People who usually don't like AT sniping seem to be backing down. Come on, no one in their proper mind would tolerate this kind of game play

Heh, I've been playing vanilla BF2 for a bit just to rocket AT whore on Karkand. It's so fun just killing support dolphin divers with the AT rockets because it makes it easier for me to hit them when they're prone. The AT weapons are good in CQC with friendly fire off too. All you need to do is fire at the ground near them and take out the SMG to finish them off. So fun...

sorry dudes, but harrrelson atracted my attention, i dont like that kind of behaviours at the new players , with that kind of attitude (calling them noobs and such things) dudes, this is a game , let other people enjoy the game, if they arent good enough to take a h-at camper-sniper, dont yell at him saying such things and covering in excuses, its bad to see that this kind of attitude is taken at the newbies without a solid reason, just because they are "nilla" comers?. i dont like to type this kind of topics, but, i just wanted to say that.
