Concerning weapon caches

This is going to come off as a really silly question, but i've used the search function on here, along with Google to try to find a answer for this: What does a weapons cache look like on Al Basrah? Today was my first day on Al Basrah, and I was leading a squad from the last map.
Knew to search the area for weapons caches, and had suspected that where insurgents came from were likely cache areas. Even saw two caches lit up on the map from civilian capture, but when I got to the only one I could get to while killing Insurgents around the Checkpoint, it was just a tank sitting in a crater. Went hunting with the squad, and found a hole in the ground with four insurgent weapons, and put a frag in thinking we had stumbled upon one. None of us having any idea what a cache looked like. Made for interesting VOIP. Weapons dissapeared, but I didn't notice any change in the number of caches. Possibly I was too busy dealing with Vehicle Checkpoint being taken to see it, but...
...what the heck does a weapons cache look like? A screenshot would be excellent. A general description would work as well.
