Okay, so I noticed that there's a Best Squad Leader moments thread, and I just had the worst round ever, so I figured I'd like to hear about some of your worst, most unlucky games too.

(I checked the search option for something similar, but didn't see anything.)

Here's what happened...
I joined a server running Operation Pheonix, I'm pretty sure I must've joined right after the 2 minute timer at the beginning of the round went down, because no flags had been taken.

Straight away I checked for squads. There were 3 full squads, and one locked squad with two members. Sigh. I create a squad (playing USMC) and spawn at the forward spawn, figuring that there's nobody in my squad, I can worry about getting an Officer Kit once I get another member or two.

I make it to the first flag on the East, and in the time it takes to cap it, I had requested a supply drop so that I could get my kit. My squad are all talking to each other, and I tell them to go to the train while I wait a minute for my officer kit. It's going well, everyone is talking.

The supply drop finally lands, I run over to it and get shot. In a few seconds I'm revived, and then 3 medics dive on top of me. Boom, grenaded, we're all dead.

By this time, I have 3 more guys in my squad, so I spawn on the commander's supply truck thing at the south west flag, hop in a Humvee, and drive back to the supply drop. There's guys running about the flag, but it's fine because the MEC haven't even taken the Train flag yet, so I'm okay. There's another dude healing himself or something next to the supply drop when I run over. I grab my office kit (standing right in front of this dude), look around for a second, turn around and start running back to my Humvee. The guy shoots me, then shoots my squad mate on the .50 cal. His uniform, having been essentially the same as mine, had thrown me off. The fact that he was sitting so obviously in the middle of a flag full of my own friendlies blinded me to the fact that he had a beard.
Death count: 2.

I spawn on the commander's supply truck again, he's moving. A split second after I spawn, I'm shot, then the truck explodes.
Death count: 3

Spawn, make my way to the supply drop once again. Get the officer's kit, running with another guy from my squad (no idea where the rest are, probably off being useful) to catch up to the battle. Out of nowhere I'm hit by a grenade.
Death count: 4

Right, so by this time, I've done absolutely nothing, and everyone in my squad has far more points than me. I decide that I'm obviously not being any use to them, so I leave the squad and join another.

We're running along, then two of my guys run around a corner and get mown down. I can tell where the guy is (very close, to the left) by the sound of his gun, and my team-mates urgently need reviving, so I run out and try and get him. Despite hitting him with 2 bursts from my M16, he kills me.
Death Count: 5

I spawn back our rally point, then run to the SL who's about 100 yards away. As soon as I get to him he's shot. I revive him, then start to heal, and another member 20 feet away is shot. I heal the SL enough until he can survive for a minute or two without bleeding to death, then run out and revive the other dude. Run back, I get shot.
Death Count: 6

(I'd actually died 8 times by this point, all in really stupid ways, but I can't remember the others).

Spawn. Right, fuck this medic ****, I've barely seen a single enemy so far and I've been wasted over and over.

Support guy, run into the Construction site from the south (on my own, the rest of my squad are pinned behind the wall to the west. I run in and take out the 3 enemies who're pinning down my squad. Yes! Finally doing well.... teamkilled.... "Sorry." Yeah, yeah, it happens, forgive.
Death count: 9

Spawn again (the game is almost over by this time), run into the flag, which we've neutralised by this time, and immediately get shot again, by another team-mate. "Sorry". Sigh, forgive.
Death count: 10

End of the round.

If you can't be arsed reading that and want a summary, I got repeatedly owned (by the enemy and my own team) and had a generally crappy game.

Now I want to hear what your worst and most unlucky rounds were like.

Sorry for yet another ultra long post, I find it hard to stop typing.

I was squad leader and the Commander was German.

Now im a mexican,
I have no idea what he's saying ALL i can understand is "flag"

Now he is telling me all this stuff so i muted him.

He complained to the admin and i got kicked!!!!

I rejoined, and got in a squad called "VOIP" little did i know the language of the VOIP is german
As soon as i said "good afternoon Gentlemen" i was kicked from the squad.

After that i just quit PR for the day

Hmm... my worst round...

I've had so many. I don't mind dying, but getting tked can be rather annoying. I remember Al Basrah as USMC, my squad moves into facility, clears it out while 2 of my guys are going around the perimeter blowing up spawn cars galore, everythings going well and this A10 dives on us and kills us all (and we were spread out) and doesn't get a single insurgent.

So we go back again, this time with the help of 2 other squads... and guess what, A10 of doom comes in and blasts us. So we all punish, he gets kicked, then one of the other squads starts tking us.

It was really just a horrible tk fest. I had about 10 deaths by getting tked. Not a single apology either.

Ugh.

My worst round has to be when I was on at about 2 in the morning and 2 12 year old kids were throwing pink smoke grenades and singing and laughing...I then joined another server........

Probably the worsts experiences in general for me is having a squad leader not know what the hell he is doing in conjunction with a commander who doesnt know what he is doing either

Being banned from the 101st server for attacking an uncappable (no warning and the map didnt have a single uncappable), getting unbanned, then trying to logon again yesterday having not played in days and finding out I am re-banned while offline. ???? Thanks guys! Not enough West Coast servers, then being banned repeatedly for nothing from the one populated one is my worst experience.

Don't they have a forum or something you can go to and ask them wtf is going on?

Just had my worst PR moment/round yesterday. I think one of the DEV's were there too.

I was playing Kastan on a UK *something*&Tactics server. Cant remember the name propperly. Anyways, 3 ppl on our team would instantly TK eachother/blow up jets/blow up runway for jets. Some other smacktard was C4ing our own tanks. And there was 2 tanks and 3 jets raping our main. And we couldn't do a **** coz the US main got no TOW's and the stinger AA's are totally useless against jets. Eventually things got worse coz MEC guys capped the flag they needed to cap main and then their tanks(5 or 6 of them) just stood at our main and raped everything that spawned on the airfield. So IMO main bases need ALOT more defences.

PS, i might have said a couple nasty things during that round.

Every game for me is **** now, I pwn everyone so bad cuz I am 1337 and get bored in 5.

When that happens I just don't spawn. There's no point; you basically can't win at that stage, and you're only going to die over and over the second you spawn.

their forums has more categories than posts. that and I signed up oh 2 weeks ago or so when I was banned the first time and I never got the verification email so I cant post. amazing...

Anytime I have to play as a Squad Member instead of a Leader. Not much gets on my nerves more then having no say in losing a map, or working with a Squad that moves like molasses and can't figure out where they need to be.

My worst experience has been spread out over the last 5 months or so. Working all hours of the day and having an internet connection comparable to a length of string and two paper cups, has been severly restricting my time in PR but i'm might make a return soon, who knows.

Everytime random Nub #1 gets into the commander's vehicle, drives it into the open and gets killed within 15 seconds.

I forget who, but someone moved the commander vehicle and my team-mate goes

"Could you move the commander vehicle a little bit more, I don't think they have seen you yet."

Probably all the games I've had with smacktards tkin' anyone who spawns or the games where I'm stuck in a squad with an SL who's off on his own with a sniper.

Once, on Al Basrah, my team was doing absolutely horrible. None of the squads already in place exhibited any teamwork, nobody used VOIP, and the team couldn't even hold the VCP, even though all of them were attacking it.

I created a squad called "angry." After a minute or so, a retarded specop joined the squad. I kicked him, locked the squad, and stayed that way until the end of the round.

Few good, most PR rounds are unenjoyable for me or I just suck

PR6 is old enough now where this should be common knowledge, but 'gather for rally point' doesn't mean 'fart off to point farm'. Or what's gotten to be a particulary grating answer to the former: 'Stand in the open while waiting for the third person only to get shot so we're down to one, waiting on two.' Genius!

Where's my leash so I can choke-chain a squad member who tries to break cover to go for a kill when we're trying to set up a rally point? Yip! That'll teach you. Yes, a bad squad is about as bad as no squad.
