Like the Pin Tack suggestion - Waypoints .....

sort of inspired by that great idea of commander pin tacks ............ and would like to see it in game.
One thing i've always thought is that squad orders have always been a little bit on the basic side.
Eg: Move here ! defend here ! demolitions needed here ! and an attack marker Drops.
Would it ever be possible to implement a waypoint system to place multiple ( eg, move here, then here, then here) for the commander to use for his squads, and for Squad leaders to use for thier own Squads ?
Just a thought, and sorry if its been suggested before - tried a search but couldnt find anything specific !
