Stepping down...

Hello all,
Just a quick note that I will be stepping down from my position as PR-PR (Public Relations), effective immediately. There's no animosity involved in this decision. My professional life is taking a turn and I no longer have the appropriate amount of freetime to dedicate to promoting such a tremendous modification. The development team recognizes the importance and relevance of one's career and is completely supportive.
Out of respect and courtesy, I have resigned. PR has intelligently hired on BlakeJr. as my replacement and I have full confidence he will bring the overall public knowledge of Project Reality as far as humanly possible.
I will remaind a PR supporter and fan as this mod moves forward.
Thank you.

Intelligent or not... That remains to be seen...
I have some serious shoes to fill and it will be a daunting task to say the least.
Never the less I am taking this on because I love the mod even if I blow at the game itself.
I will try to spread the word on PR around the internet and to be able to do so I will gather a team of dedicated and hopefully levelheaded fans from the community. Those of you who don't get picked for this team can still be active and help spreading the news around as have already been seen in the Publicity thread. Keep the steam up! Project Reality is coming!

Good luck with the future Dre, the mod's been excellently managed by the Dev team so far, and your contribution will never be forgotten mate
I hope you, like req, pop in once in a while to see how things are going
HO-LY MO-LY, "
[R-DEV]BlakeJr" definately suits you mate, congratulations! Quite a responsability you've taken on, I'm sure you're
more than up to the task - well done Blake, support to you all the way!

Well, it seems lately a lot of people have been taking on other responsibilities. Its all for the best though. I'm sure these slight turn of events will only serve to better the PR community and the forward production of the Mod itsself.
So instead of looking at this as another bad thing, lets look at it as double good thing!
Congradulations, both Dre and Blake, on your new hard earned responsibilities!
Good luck to both of you!

He's certainly the joker in the pack. Good health and prosperity to you Dre, we all appreciate everything you have done for the mod. Don't be a stranger.

Thanks all, for the vote of confidence. Much appreciated!

BrokenArrow, Christ was not involved in giving me my new status. It was Requiem and Fortnight... Then again those guys are the closest thing to a religious icon as you can get on these boards!
[R-DEV]Private Joker.... Now why didn't I think of that?

If you can't take the heat, get outta the kitchen!
Great movie... Which one am I thinking of?
Oh, right, it has a young Tim Robbins in it.... and the Japanese warcry "TORA TORA TORA"

I appreciate the kind words of support and well wishes. Thanks.
Life at NASA is approaching critical mass in terms of workload, so at the end of the day, I'm more than likely half-dead. Being half-dead isn't conducive to a successful and productive mod team member. It does make for a decent zombie.

What you should do is sneak the PRMM logo onto a NASA shuttle. Put it somewhere everyone could see.

Of course it can be done, these NASA types are all think and no monkey see monkey do (eg. Tony Blair> George Bush)
Would kick *** to have a PR logo on there, or possible put the EA logo on the exhaust ports.
