I don't know how else to ask this besides posting a thread, so:

Does anyone know of any PR v0.6 servers that have BattleRecorder? TIA.

I've never bothered to look at a battlerecorder so I have some really basic questions too...

Where do you download the battlerecorder file? How do you play it?

Click on that community tab in BF2 and choose your file from the list on the left side. After you downloaded it, just double click it on the list on the right side to play.

all TV2 servers..there also pretty good ping (well im in the UK and its around 40-60 ) theres also quite a few of them playing insurgency and conquest

My server has BR running. Last 20 demos are kept on the webserver.

There's a listing of the available BR files at http://www.clanmkp.com if they don't appear in Community.

Our PR Server has BR running, too. But sadly, it's mostly empty... If you like, drop by! It's hosted by I3d.nl and normaly has a good ping all over europe and the UK. Ti_GERCAGE18+ #2 -=PR v0.6=- IP: 84.244.189.22 : 16567 We run AAS and Insurgency atm.

Someone please tell me that TV2 has BR. PLEASE!

I've tried downloading BR videos several times, but it's never ever worked.

My brother successfully download one once, but it CTD'd when he tried to load it.

While I'm here, I have another question...

How many PR servers can you guys see? I see a maximum of 32, but half the time I only see 16. Just wondered how that compared with other players.

Its quite tricky to get the BR files into community and it rarely works. We direct them over our HP, you just have to copy them into the right dir.

Its OT, but I get around 120 - I have filters set for same mod, and all 3 mapsizes

TG does BR but its pretty random unless your a paying member


I got an excellent BR of steel thunder with lots of helicopter fights but its for 0.5 so you need to have that version installed first. They are about 100 meg big

Someone please help me out, something hilarious just happened on TV2, (see the thread I just started), and I really want to get a YouTube video made of it to show others. How do I get the BR file from the round?

If you're lucky it shows up in your community section in BF2. If not, you'll have to take a look at their Homepage, or maybe contact the admin to get the file.

What timezone is the TV2 server in? I'm going by US EST, the round ended a few minutes before 6:00 over here.

Edit: It's in Norway, so it ended around 24:00 over there, I guess I'll download the last one.

I just sat through about an hour of footage before I finally saw myself get into the truck, and then the MOTHER$@#!ING GAME CRASHES. I AM FURIOUS. BATTLERECORDER IS A PIECE OF &*$@ AND IT SHOULD ALLOW PEOPLE TO SKIP AHEAD THROUGH THE DAMN RECORDING INSTEAD OF SITTING THROUGH THE ENTIRE &*#%ING THING AT THEIR PATHETIC CRAWL OF A "FAST FOWARD".

Fine. But BattleRecorder is an awful, awful program. It crashed again before I could get it working, and then crashed at the end. I'll attempt some more recording tomorrow.
