im having a hard time with the fact that more people are willing to serve prmm than to play it. there are exceptions ofcourse, once or twice a week i find an almost full game; about 10 on 10. but its just crazy that on average there are more servers than players... any thoughts as to how this can be?

fairly large community spread out across an even larger world. even when everyone's in the same timezone its hard to make schedules match up, when some players are a few hours different its even more difficult. once the full version is out though i dont think there will be much trouble finding a good game.

Recently I've been finding a few full servers. All I want is more AAS though so that it's still possible to have a good game on a large server with only 4 or so players.

Sadly I live in sweden, so player counts are pretty awfull. Often when I check, there is zero players on every server.
Now the REAL problem is that server admins run either without AAS or on big maps. Come on... 64 player maps are not fun when there are 4 players! Hell 32 player maps arent fun either.
I seem to recall a server script that disables flags on 64 player maps based on player that are actually playing. That could be a good idea for server admins that insist on having these big maps even though few are playing. Maybe it'll keep those few players interested long enough for more to join.

Help get the word out about this mod. Tell your friends, tell your sister, tell your priest/pastor, tell your turtle.
This mod really hasn't been in the public spotlight unless a release hits.. but anyone who gave this mod (the minimod up until now) a chance finds it hard to go back to vanilla BF2.

No way in hell would I tell my turtle. I want to play the game without constantly getting pwned by a quadruped.

I would loved to be ;Pwned by a turtle, that's sexy.
I told my dog and my bird, but hell I think they're retarded.
I always find at least 1-3 people playing at least, used to be zero.
Quite frequently around 5-11PM CST [USA] there will be a full server.
Ghost Dogs is usually the one rockin, and 7/10 times it's on Karkand. :/

I did get the word out... everyone at work knows I play, and nope there's no way I'm going back to vanilla BF2 - it's just ... err...full of wet flannel weapons and bouncing rabbits. Pah.
Interestingly, I was just mucking about on my own and some guy came in (from a clan) and I was pleasant and didn't kill him and told him about the cool things (x for tanks etc). He said "Are you for real!?" because I don't think he'd encountered nice people on public servers. He spent about fifteen to twenty minutes checking out and testing stuff (like being shot in the foot for bleeding to death), then he said "Hold on... this is so awesome... I have to go and tell my clan".
I've spotted a few of his clan on servers.
I think releasing the PRMM was a stroke of genious - a lot of other mods have held off releasing anything apart from pictures.
Another good thing about the small size is that I recognise a lot of people on this forum.
